How to Make Free Money Online With Affiliate Marketing

With the economy in dire straits it's no wonder why so many people are flocking to the internet seeking ways to make money. But with the overwhelming prevalence of idiots trying to pedal the American Dream in downloadable form it makes a person wonder just what is or is not real.

If you've spent any time online gazing into the murky depths of the Make Money Online pool you probably have a few questions... one of them being "Is it really possible?"

That's fair. In fact any intelligent person would have to question their sanity after going through another $24million in 24 hours online product launch! It boggles the mind.

But I assure you these things are real. And just as the rewards are real... so are the dangers.

I have been lucky enough to become one of the successful people out there with what some would call an "autopilot" business. And I can tell you, after looking back at it all there are a great many risks involved.

The first one being cost.

For you to see your first online sales you do not need a website, you do not need to buy anything and you most certainly do not need your own product. What you do need is the ability to communicate with other people on an intelligent level and offer a suggestion.

This is the basis for what is called "affiliate marketing". It is very simply selling other peoples products and getting a cut.

Some great places to get started with this are ClickBank, PayDotCom as well as hundreds of other affiliate program merchant locations.

Free. Did I mention how to do it for free?

Here are the tools you will need to make money online for nothing:

#1: A product that you can personally stand behind. Something you can and maybe use and would feel comfortable telling others about.

#2: A method to get your word out to the masses. This could be in the form of article marketing or blogging.

#3: The ability to write not to sell... but to get the person to click your link and see for themselves what this product you're talking about can really do.

That last part, that's the one where most people trip up. You see, everyone seems to want to "sell" to everyone else... but that's not how you make money. You make money when you communicate an idea and when you become a friend to that person.

Remember this above all else: when you promote a product as an affiliate it is not your job to "close the deal". Your job is to get the person to take the next step. That next step is to click your affiliate link and move onto the sales letter.

Leave the closing to those letters... that's why folks like me have them!
