HOW KEYWORD RESEARCH HELPS AFFILIATE MARKETERS.

Keyword Research is the most integral part of any business running on the internet today.
How good is your KEYWORD research determines your success story in affiliate marketing because
it is what you will use in every other thing you will do to reach your target market.
I will give a brief explanation on how to carry out your keyword research and tools available on
the internet for you.
What is keywords: are those words and / or phrases which people may use to locate your services,
products, information or brands via search engine.
I will break the keyword research process into two major steps
Step 1: Keyword Identification
 Here you are going to identify the industry, move further to identify your target market. 
By getting to know how they conduct their search, which words or phrases they use to conduct their
search before buying. 
Google and other search engines store these keywords in their database to help webmasters and
marketers conduct their market research.There are many tools out there you can use to find these
keywords both paid and free versions are all about your business plan and budget.

I believe there are many more available in the market today, it's all about how you utilize the power of
search engines..
Step: 2   Choosing Your Keywords.
This is another area where many marketers get it wrong, after your keyword research you will come up
with so many keywords arranged according to their popularity (counts).
The tools you used in conducting your search allows you to export these keywords to a spreadsheet,
there you will see the number of times these keywords were used in a day or month, the number of
advertisers competing for these keywords .
These sheets will help to eliminate those keywords that might not be relevant to your business and
select those that you are going to build your business on and for your promotional campaign.
